We have tried to keep each receiver that we support in its own category with discussion, files & tools for each receiver. Please keep discussions and questions in discussion areas. File threads are for files only. Our practice at this site is to close all files posted to prevent tack ons cluttering the file. We want everyone to be able to locate files they need with a minimum of searching. Try to stay in the proper forum that your question or post is related to.
SEARCH FOR YOUR PROBLEM OR QUESTION BEFORE MAKING A NEW POST OR THREAD!

3. We have prepared How-To sections to help you get started. Read through them and get to know the terms and what you are trying to do. The better you can explain your question, the quicker you will receive help in resolving an issue and get your unit running. Know what equipment you are using from what type dish, lnb, and switch you are using and what brand receiver and what satillites you are watching/aiming at. There are many different types of setups out there and someone helping you can help you better when they know what you have and what you have done.

4. Feel free to ask questions, but once again, search for your problems before asking, there is a wealth of information here. We want you to learn. No question is too dumb or asked too many times. Try to post your question in an open forum, someone else may have the same question and it may help others with your same problem(s). Avoid using private message or the shoutbox / chat box for support. Admins and Mods are not paid to provide private support, be respectful of their time. Consider what it is like answering the same type of question over and over and the amount of time wasted. They all want to help so lets get the most buck out of our dollar.

5. We ask that no one post open links of urls leading to off site. It is ok to post a url address that goes off site but it must be in a format that can be copied and pasted in browser window to become active. Links leading to a file or discussion area located within this site are ok. When you post and it contains a URL, you can disable the link by unchecking the parse links automatically option underneath the reply window. This is a security issue and all live links leading off site will be disabled.

6. This forum gives no recognition based upon number of posts. We want quality not quantity. When posting files, be precise and concise in what the file is and what IRD application it is intended to be used with. We request that you do not post files you do not understand and can not stand behind.

7. Do not PM How-To questions to any Admin or Moderator. Start a Thread instead and someone will respond to help you out.

8. No double posting the same, or close to the same, question in two forums, or the same forums. Any double posting will result in the deletion of that post.

8a. No Hijacking of other members threads, if a Thread is started by someone having a problem and you reply with a Question pertaining to something totally off that thread's topic it will be moved or possibly deleted.

9. No Posting of Private Files of any kind. No Microsoft Programs or Licensed Programs permitted to be posted. This includes Torrents or Warez of any kind.

10. Respect the site Administrators and Moderators and each other.

11. Please post all Files in the File Section.

12. No IP programs which show the users IP address, system, etc.

13. No Porn of any kind is to be posted in the general open forums.

14. No Soliciting Members from other FTA Sites to come join our site unless they are friends of yours and its one on one. PM'ing strangers from other sites to join this site will result in a suspension / ban. Members here at FTAFOREVER.com soliciting people to other FTA sites outside of FTAFOREVER.com will be banned and you wont be let back here.

15. Only english is allowed in the forum.
